The villa Mettlen in Muri bei Bern litteraly sits amidst a group of embassies of countries that are in many ways controversial. In a shed which is mainly used by the wealthy youth for their personal explorations, a figure comes and inhabits the place, preparing itself to escape. A first space is a living space, of which the walls are covered with basic sentences in the different idioms of these embassies. A hole leads to a second space where various glasssheets covers fotographs of skies, covered with lines, looking like a plan, or a complex calculus of a constellation. A second hole has been dug out, but is closed from the outside. |
